You know, one of the truly amazing things about AI right now is how it lowers the barrier to entry for starting projects.

Take Gemini, for example. Its Canvas feature is incredibly powerful, letting you not just generate code, but actually see the result instantly.

Today, I'll show you how to use it to create a landing page and deploy it online for free.

Perfect for basically starting any project in 3 minutes!

Here’s how to get your landing page live:

1. Open Gemini

First things first, head over to Gemini.

From the template list, make sure you select 2.5 Pro.
Just below the text input field, you'll see an option to activate the Canvas feature. Make sure that's turned on.

(Good news: this works even with a free Gemini account!)

2. Type your prompt

Now, you need to tell Gemini what kind of landing page you want. Use a prompt like this:

You're a senior UX/UI designer with experience in high-converting SaaS websites.

Create a landing page for a new SaaS product that transforms user ideas into professional-quality blog posts using AI.

The page should clearly communicate the product's value, build trust with potential users, and encourage sign-ups. Include a compelling hero section, feature highlights, testimonials, pricing tiers, and a strong call-to-action.

For example, use messaging like "From idea to polished post in minutes" or show a side-by-side of a raw idea and the finished blog output. Use HTML/CSS/JS.

Feel free to adapt the product description to whatever you're building!

3. Generate the landing page

Hit enter, and watch the magic happen.

In just a few seconds, Gemini will generate the code and show you a live preview of your landing page right there in the Canvas.

You can ask for changes if you're not happy, just chat with Gemini like you normally would!

4. Copy the code

Once you're satisfied with the preview, you need the code.

Click to display the code view within the Canvas. At the top, you'll find an option to easily copy all the generated HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

5. Save the HTML file

Time to get this code onto your computer.

Create a new folder somewhere easy to find – let's call it Landing page.
Inside that folder, create a new text file. Open it, paste the code you just copied from Gemini, and save the file with the name index.html.

6. Deploy your page

We need a place to host our new page. Cloudflare offers a fantastic free option for this.

Go to Cloudflare and create a free account if you don't have one.
Once logged in, look for Workers & Pages in the sidebar menu on the left.

Click the Create application button, then navigate to the Pages tab.

7. Upload your page

Nearly there!

On the Pages screen, choose the Upload assets option.
Give your project a name (this will be part of your free URL).

Click Create project.
Now, simply drag and drop or select the Landing page folder (the one containing your index.html file) to upload it.
Hit Deploy site, and Cloudflare will handle the rest!

Well done, your landing page is already online!

Cloudflare will give you a free *.pages(dot)dev URL you can use immediately.

(And of course, if you have your own domain name, you can easily link it up within Cloudflare too!)

It's pretty wild, right? A few years ago, this would have taken hours or required hiring someone.

Now, thanks to tools like Gemini Canvas and Cloudflare Pages, you can get a professional-looking landing page up and running in minutes, completely free.
