It lets you upload documents, spreadsheets, and more, and then interact with them in ways you never thought possible.

Here's the lowdown:

1. Analyze Uploaded Documents

Copilot doesn't just see your files; it understands them. It can:

The rollout is gradual and is even coming to free versions of Copilot!

2. Answer Questions About the File

Got a burning question about a report or spreadsheet?

Just ask Copilot! It can pull out specific details, explain formulas, or summarize key points.

Examples:

Need to write an email summarizing a report or create a presentation outline?

Copilot can use the information from your file to draft text for you, saving you time and effort.

Examples:

"Write an email summarizing the findings of this report."
"Create a presentation outline based on this document."
"Draft a response to the questions raised in this email, addressing the points in the attached document."

Effortless Research: Upload a research paper and have Copilot summarize the key findings or answer specific questions about the methodology.
Meeting Mastery: Upload meeting notes and have Copilot extract action items or draft follow-up emails.
Data Demystified: Upload a spreadsheet and have Copilot explain complex formulas or generate charts and graphs.
