Google has announced something incredible to generate images easily through AI with just a few words.

No more wasting hours trying to find the perfect stock photo and sifting through pages of watermarked images.

Now you can simply describe what you want and Google will draw it for you in seconds!

Let's dive in!

Activating Image Generation

Enabling it is simple - just head to your Google account settings:

Now you've done the hard part!

Generate images

There are two easy ways to generate images:

First option:

Simply type "draw..." followed by what you want into the Google search bar. For example:

"draw a golden retriever swimming in a lake"

Second option:

Go to Google Images, type a search term, click on a related image, then click on "Generate" to have the AI create similar ones.

Here are some creative prompts to get you started:

I'm amazed by the detail and quality it can generate!

Of course, for the moment it's still inferior to Dall-E 3 and Midjourney, but it can be more than sufficient in many cases.

This makes getting custom visuals so fast and easy now.

Currently, it's limited to the US, but I got it working from Europe with a VPN.

You can also use the Opera web browser, which has a free VPN built-in.

So don't hesitate to give this a try if you're interested!

Personally, I would have loved to have had this during my studies to find illustrations for my PowerPoint presentations easily.
